The Life of Our Lady Virgin Mary
From the time her mother, St. Anne, conceived Our Lady Virgin Mary until today, she has been a blessing to all who know her. Her parents, St. Joachim and St. Anne have waited and prayed for her for so long and since the day she was born, Virgin Mary was trained to become a loving and God-abiding person.
On that account, it was never surprising that Our Lady Virgin Mary has bravely accepted both the challenge and blessing of becoming the mother of our saviour, Jesus Christ. Although Our Blessed Lady fainted during the passion of his Son, she has courageously accepted that it was her Son’s fate, because without that sacrifice, mankind will perish. Because of her holiness, it was said that having completed the course of her earthly life, she was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory.
Our most Blessed Virgin Mary has not stopped sharing her life and prayers despite her assumption into heaven. She continued to show how she loves us dearly through her apparitions. From the day of the first Marian apparition when Virgin Mary was said to have bilocated and appeared to St. James in Spain, until Our Lady of Guadalupe’s encounter with a poor Aztec Indian named Juan Diego and the Apparitions of Our Lady of Lourdes through St. Bernadette, she has demonstrated her great affection and compassion to us.
Our Lady Virgin Mary’s apparitions remain to be miracles, those which could hardly be explained by Science. There are a lot of people who believe, yet there are also some who deny that she is Our Blessed Mother.
No matter how many people refuse to believe her existence, the fact that there are people like us who faithfully believes that her unconditional love could lead to our salvation remains.
